It is now Flu Season, and we will be administering influenza vaccine in the next couple weeks. If you are a POA, please sign a consent whether a resident should have the vaccine or not. They will be available in the business office or the nurse’s station. If you are unable to stop in the facility, we can mail one.

Now is also the time to be cleaning out closets and replacing summer clothing with warmer items. Please label all items with permanent marker.

Another reminder to all residents and family members: please avoid bringing over the counter medications, treatment creams, or cough/cold lozenges as well as hygiene or cleaning products with a warning of ‘keep out of reach of children’ on the label. Also, no aerosol cans of any type.  If you have any questions. Please ask nursing staff. This is for the safety of all residents.

When bringing in new clothing items please remember to mark clothing with resident’s first and last initial using a sharpie maker
