A Note from the Administrator

Happy October everyone! We have received some new guidance regarding visitation, and we hope to get some plans in place soon. With the cold weather coming, we want to make sure you can visit your loved one comfortably. We have really enjoyed the outdoor visits so far and our hope is the visitation will loosen up a little more while still making sure the residents are safe and healthy. As you may have heard, we are currently testing all employees for COVID-19 once weekly. We will continue COVID-19 testing of all employees up to twice weekly depending on the positivity rates of Jones county. We are so thankful to our staff for continuing to take precautions to avoid getting sick, and for their willingness to get tested. Our staff go above and beyond and continue to do a great job of caring for our residents.

We are excited to announce Ashley Kula has accepted the position as Dietary Supervisor for Monticello Nursing and Rehab and Pennington Square Assisted Living. Ashley lives in Monticello with her son Mason and her fiancé, Carlo. She grew up in the area and went to school in Monticello. She has many years of experience in food service. Ashley comes to us from Camp Courageous as their previous Assistant Dietary Director. She enjoys reading, kayaking, and spending time with her son and her two dogs. Please join us in welcoming Ashley as our Dietary Supervisor! Healthcare Food Service Workers Week is October 4th - 10th. Give them a big Thank You for all that they do!

Make it a great October everyone!
