Happy May from Nursing!
We are looking forward to great things in May and are happy to be staying healthy here at MNRC! A HUGE thank you to all the support for our hardworking nursing staff. We really have some of the best! Our facility has been through some tough changes in the past couple months and they stood up to the challenge. They truly are superhero’s and do it out of love for the residents. We all worry about the possibility of infection, but we are working together in and outside of the facility to be safe and stay healthy! Staff education and screening have become daily habit. It feels strange to NOT wear a mask. The dining rooms are quiet. Reminders to socially distance are common. We have accepted this as a short term normal but cannot wait to see the residents mingling again and engaging with loved ones!
In May we will celebrate our amazing nurses! We will take extra time and say extra Thank You’s to recognize the kind, compassionate, care they give forth every day. The past weeks have tested us all! MNRC nurses have been gracious with their time and dedicated to making extra effort to stay healthy outside of work. They remain open minded to new recommendations and altering from the “normal” routine. There have been smiles and tears and numerous prayers…some dancing, some laughing, and some binge eating! Bless them all for the service and reliance. MNRC is thankful!
We look forward to warmer days and seeing everyone in person again soon!
