Welcome June and Sunshine!
We are looking forward to celebrating our CNAs. They are patient, strong, hardworking, and care for our residents with so much love. June 10th-14th we will have activities to celebrate their dedication! Please take time to let them know how we appreciate all that they do for us!
We would like to congratulate Jamie Tubbs, RN! She has been a dedicated nurse at MNRC and has accepted the position as Restorative Nurse! She replaces Sheri Burke in this leadership role and will be a great asset to our team. Sheri will continue to help as a charge nurse on the floor as needed.
A couple reminders for the summer months – please limit sun exposure while out of the facility. We can apply sunscreen prior to going out if you like. Also remember to offer fluids often. When taking residents out, please sign out and when returning, ensure they come back into the facility or alert the nursing staff before you leave. When bringing fresh food into the rooms from gardens or your kitchen, please be sure to seal them well to prevent spoilage or insects and ensure the food is appropriate for the resident to eat – Take into consideration diet textures and allergies. The nurses will be happy to help you!
