Nursing News
A big HELLO to all the friends and families we haven’t been able to see in person for a few months! We are anxiously waiting for the day we can have some things return to “normal”! We are privileged to be able to spend this time with the residents and be supportive while visitors keep their distance.
We have many new faces in the nursing department and have been busy training CNAs and Nurses. You may have seen a couple or heard their voices on phone calls. They are off to a great start and we are happy to have them join our caring team. Covid season has given our hiring, testing, and training a bit of a twist but they are all handling it well and learning a lot about infection control and alternate forms of dining, communication, and exercise. We look forward to having them meet all the wonderful families in person!
We are thankful for your attention to the requests and regulations for continued infection control and isolation. It’s challenging on a daily basis but it’s working to keep our population healthy! Please continue to be patient as we work through the details for opening visitation; we will be communicating with families as we know more. Until then, we welcome calls, Facetime, and window visits. Thank you for trusting us during this difficult time to care for your friends and family members; they are our family too!
