Letter from Leann
Happy July! June flew by and it’s hard to believe the 4th of July is right around the corner. Once again we will be participating in the 4th of July parade, taking a few residents in the golf cart. If any family or friends would like to walk with us, we would be happy to have you. Contact Leann or Jenn for details. If you prefer to watch the parade somewhere along the route, make sure you get our attention so we can say hi and reward you with some candy and other goodies!! Wishing you all a very happy and safe 4th of July!!
Another big July event is the Great Jones County Fair. We are planning on taking some of the residents to the harness races on Thursday, July 11th to take in the races and some of the other sites. The last couple years we have been unable to go due to poor weather, so let’s hope for good weather for the fair.
Each August we celebrate our residents and their loved ones with a Family Fun Night. We are busy planning our event and tossing around the idea of moving the event to September to hopefully enjoy some cooler temperatures outside.
