Letter from Leann
Happy New Year from all of us at Monticello Nursing and Rehab! As I look back through the Facebook posts throughout 2019, I’m feeling very thankful. First, I’m thankful for all our wonderful residents who we get the privilege of caring for every day. Their smiles, their happiness, and their love is why we do what we do. From celebrating the holidays, to going fishing, having indoor ‘snowball fights’, gardening, cooking class, etc., these people become our other family. They are why we are here. Second, I’m so thankful for our caring staff. Our team values the work they do and the residents they care for. They go above and beyond with so many kind gestures, seeking to gain nothing other than brightening the residents’ day. And finally, I’m thankful to be working in a kind, compassionate, and caring home where employees are valued and appreciated. Our jobs can be difficult, and the losses are so hard on our hearts. We are all humans and we all make mistakes. We do the best we can and strive to do better every day. Take a moment to count your blessings. Wishing you much love and joy in 2020!
