Happy Winter!  BRRRR!  Last month, January 20-26, 2019, we celebrated National Activity Professional Week.  This national celebration recognizes the bonds built between residents and the activity professionals who are committed to providing person-centered care and services.  Thank you, Heather and Donna, for your creativity, your passion and for enrichening the lives of our residents with fun and meaning activities.  We appreciate all that you do!

February is American Heart Month.  This is a great time to take a moment and really think about heart health and consider making some changes toward improving your overall health (How are your New Year’s Resolutions going, by the way?) The American Heart Association’s website www.heart.org has some great ideas and suggestions on this topic; everything from adding color to your diet, to tips on how to stay motivated with your exercise program.  And in honor of heart month, we will be visiting with residents throughout the month and finding out what they love about MNRC!  Please be sure to like our Facebook page as we will be posting lots of pictures and testimonials with our motto, “Love builds a happy home”!  #lovebuildsahappyhome.  Stay warm.
