It’s hard to believe that December is here!  Not sure about all of you but the tenants and I were just talking about how fast it came.  We were also discussing how excited we are to see all the holiday carolers!  While the holidays can bring so much joy to so many, it can also bring some sadness.   For the elderly the holiday tends to bring memories of earlier, perhaps happier times.  One way to help with those feelings in the elderly is to include them in holiday activities such as; wrapping presents, baking, decorating, and/or looking at Christmas lights.  We have many activities planned for December to do just that for our tenants and hope that we can make them feel joy through this holiday season.

Pennington has an angel tree up this year and if you are looking to buy a gift for one of our tenants please feel free to stop and grab their angel from our tree.  We do ask that gifts are turned in to the office at Pennington by December 14. The tenants were busy baking and crafting as Pennington had their Holiday Craft Show & Vendor Fair at the Monticello Berndes Center. Thanks to everyone who donated baked goods and supported our booth. It was a great turnout. Please know all the proceeds will go towards activities and entertainment for the tenants.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Pennington Square!
