Letter from Leann
Happy Holidays everyone!
On December 1st, we started out the month with our first annual Holiday Open House and Wreath Walk. Our 600 Hall/Rehab-to-Home Unit was decorated with several wreaths which were donated by staff, family members and friends of Monticello Nursing and Rehab, and were given to a number of lucky winners who attended the open house! Ester Funke entertained us with some holiday favorites on the piano and there were lots of goodies to enjoy. It was a very fun morning and a great way to kick off the holiday season while showcasing our beautiful rehabilitation unit.
Thank you to the many volunteers who helped decorate our home for the holidays. The trees, lights, garland… everything looks amazing and certainly puts all of us in the holiday spirit. Thank you so much!
Remember to please label any gifts, clothing items, etc. residents receive for Christmas. We want to ensure they don’t get misplaced or lost in the laundry.
Just a reminder about our Family Christmas Party which will be held on Friday, December 14th from 5-7pm. Only one invitation per resident was sent, however please feel free to bring your family members; the more the merrier! We do request that you RSVP and let us know how many will be attending so we can plan accordingly. The appetizers and desserts the chef is preparing are going to be delicious! We hope to see you all there!
