April showers bring May flowers!
We are starting to think about our raised gardens by the gazebo. There are so many kinds of plants we can plant out there, it is hard to choose. The Painted Rocks of Monticello have been popping up more and more as Spring is here. The tenants are excited to paint more rocks to hide for others to find! Last month we had a few new faces in to see us. Xene came in to do a painting class and David G. Smith came in to sing. They were both wonderful and the tenants truly enjoyed their company.
April's monthly brunch will be on the 17th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Anyone is welcome to join! In the afternoon, Woodland Park Assisted Living from Anamosa will be joining us for Bingo at 2:00 pm. Manicures will be held every other Monday afternoon from now on as Nikki's Aunt Denise will start helping us. Have you ever been to the Anamosa State Penitentiary Museum? We have gotten the opportunity to take a tour through the museum for our April bus outing on the 18th. Don't forget to be checking on our little ducks. They may be swimming around in their pond. Happy April!
